Psalm 4:6-8

  1. The Gripes of our Times
    • The number of pessimists - many
    • The complaint of pessimists - no good can be found
    • True, there is much evil in the world
    • Note the initiative of the Psalmist response: Without request he offers the solution to the evil in the world
  2. The Gospel for our times
    • Look to the light not the night
    • There is gladness in the goodness of God - It is more valuable that economic surplus
    • The only source of rest is having peace with God
    • The Christian is not as interested in seeing good as he is in producing good.

Conclusion
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I WILL dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

    • A Personal Love John 3:16

Conclusion

What must we do to experience God's great power, faithfulness, mercy and love? You need to accept the gift of God. Rom 6:23 Rev 3:20
