Read John 7:37-39

Discussion: Compare John 7:38 with the promise Jesus gave the Samaritan woman in John 4:38. How are these analogies similar; how are they different?

Discussion: What does it mean for life in Christ and the Holy Spirit to be like an internal fountain of living water?

Discussion: Is this living water something that only satisfies the one who possesses it, or does it spill and splash out to others?

Read John 14:16-18

Discussion: How might life be changed if Christians lived moment-by-moment with a conscious realization of the Spirit's presence abiding with them?

Discussion: Is there a substantive difference between "for he dwelleth with you" and "he ... shall be in you"? If so, what is it? Are there any dangers in referring to one being entirely sanctified or not entirely sanctified according to the "position" of the Holy Spirit in the person's life?
